Welcome to Naples Unites! In this document we will cover the purpose and goals of the Naples Unites program, our shared vision for the future, and ways in which you can help.
Does a Business Need to be Located in Naples? Naples Unites is designed for businesses located in the greater Naples area, including all of Collier County. A business can become a Naples Unites Honorary Site if located outside of Naples.
The Purpose
is to establish Naples as a community that provides compassionate cogntive care.
Our Vision
This program will be successful when someone with Alzheimer’s can walk into any business in Naples and be treated with understanding, respect, kindness, and dignity.
The Goal
The goal of the Naples Unites program is to have every business in Naples commit to providing compassionate cognitive care. This means that each business will pledge to treat people with Alzheimer’s and other neurocognitive diseases with understanding, respect, kindness, and dignity. By doing so, each business will become a partner in breaking the stimgas associated with Alzheimer's, showing what a thoughtful, caring community can do together, and helping ensure the people with Alzheimer's can live lives of purpose and meaning.
What can I do to help?
If you are a business owner or manager
sign up to become a Naples Unites Partner site. It’s as easy as calling or emailing to let us know that you want to become a Naples Unites site. We’ll provide you with a decal for your store’s window, include you in the Naples Unites directory, and be your partner in helping you succeed in providing compassionate care.
If you are an employee at a business
take this information to your management and request that your place of business joins!
Become a Naples Unites Emissary!
We will provide you with all the training and materials to take to your favorite local businesses so that they too can become Naples Unites sites.
Naples is a small town, but growing. If we are going to meet our goals of having every business in Naples support this program, we need your help!
Imagine the pride you will feel living in a community that cares, knowing that you or your loved one with a cognitive condition can go into any store or shop anywhere in Naples and be treated with Understanding, Respect, Kindness, and Dignity.
