Cognitive Care Connection

At the Alzheimer's Support Network, we love the Naples Botanical Garden! When the Naples Unites program was first being developed, the Botanical Garden was one of the very first partner sites and a co-creator of several elements of the program. Working with us, the Garden created a program called Meet Me In the Garden, which is a monthly guided tour of the Botanical Garden that is specially designed for people with cognitive changes. Meet Me In the Gaden has become a favorite outing for many of our families.

Naples Botanical Garden is a Naples Unites Partner Site!

When we started the Naples Unites Partner Site Program (Passion & Purpose Program), again, Naples Botanical Gardens was one of the first organizations to commit to becoming a Partner Site. Being a Partner Site means they welcome people with Alzheimer's and other forms of cognitive change to come to the Garden as volunteers. Instead of going to a day center, this allows people with brain change to do something that is purposeful and meaningful to them while also helping the Garden at the same time.

Elephant Fest 2024 will be held at the Naples Botanical Garden!

After 29 wonderful years of hosting Elephant Fest at the Naples Zoo, we are thrilled that the Naples Botanical Garden has welcomed us to hold Elephant Fest 2024 at the Botanical Garden. Elephant Fest will be on April 1, 2024. We look forward to seeing you there. More details to come.
