Arts for Alzheimer's

At the Alzheimer's Support Network, we believe that art and music are pathways to the heart and soul. We use art in almost all of our engagement and well-being programs. We are proud to partner with Angel Duncan, a certified art therapist, to offer a program she designed with Yale University museums. See our events page for Arts In Mind. Gabi Boyd, a local Naples High student, started a program called Drawing for Dementia. With this program, she recruited high school students to create art inspired by and honoring people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Gabby is a true inspiration. These are two examples of how remarkable people are using art to make a difference in the lives of people living with cognitive changes. We salute and honor their efforts! art_for_Alzheimer_s_1.png
